I recoup aesthetic and symbolic components of different cultures in response to cultural hegemony and use universal symbolic heritage to place women in a position of strength and equality, while attempting to do away with the assumption that there is no alternative to the present status quo and materialize the desire to quash discriminatory stereotypes.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">As an artist, my narrative creates a dialectic between the figurative\u2014represented in black and white\u2014and the abstract\u2014represented in color\u2014by juxtaposing both forms of expression. This dialectic, which alternatively conceals and reveals fragments of the composition, is a construction\/destruction of sorts designed to confer dynamism on the subject.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">The resulting enigmatic images evoke nostalgia for that which never existed and aim to seduce the spectator by revealing a hidden\/unknown possibility.<\/p>\r\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;30px&#8221;]<\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">[vc_separator type=&#8221;normal&#8221; I recoup aesthetic and symbolic components of different cultures in response to cultural hegemony and use universal symbolic heritage to place women in a position of strength and equality, while attempting to do away with the assumption that there is no alternative to the present status quo and materialize the desire to quash discriminatory stereotypes. As an artist, my narrative creates a dialectic between the figurative\u2014represented in black and white\u2014and the abstract\u2014represented in color\u2014by juxtaposing both forms of expression. This dialectic, which alternatively conceals and reveals fragments of the composition, is a construction\/destruction of sorts designed to confer dynamism on the subject. The resulting enigmatic images evoke nostalgia for that which never existed and aim to seduce the spectator by revealing a hidden\/unknown possibility.
